This was one busy weekend! On November 13, Brianne from Glam by Brianne and I were vendors at our first bridal show! The event was put on by Dash Weddings. It was a very intimate, boutique style kind of show. "Team Awesome" which also included our wonderful assistant, Dana, had an amazing time making up brides, giving away prizes, and mingling with other great vendors!

I was really honoured to have done makeup for one of my favourite beauty bloggers, Monica, from Beauty Parler! She got hitched back in October and I must say she was one stunning bride! I loved the vintage feel to her overall look. She has unique and fantastic taste!

I am super thrilled to announce my collaboration with handbag designer, Alissa Valdenassi from Love Handles (isn't the name adorable?)!! I met her a while back and was instantly a fan of her handmade sustainable handbags. She does a number of styles and is ready to add a line of ultra modern, yet chic and elegant customizable bridal clutches! But it's not only a clutch - and this is where I come in. Being a makeup artist, I wanted to create a clutch that not only looked beautiful, but was functional to for the bride on her wedding day. Below is one of my favourite designs from her - she actually carves the handles herself! It's so boho-chic!

I had the extreme pleasure of doing makeup for bride, Claudia's, engagement shoot. Her e-shoot is one of my favourites. Early Maternity Leave

It looks like baby #2 has decided that mommy was working too much and it's time to slow down. Well, what baby wants baby gets! It's a bitter sweet moment to accept that I have to stop working, but it"s a rest that I know I and the baby needs in order to bring him into this world healthy and strong!

I've been ordered by the doctor to be on bed rest until the baby is due. His original due date is in August so I'm hoping he can hold on until then. But when baby wants to come baby will come!

To my clients: I am deeply sorry if I have had to cancel on you or are not able to work with you in the time frame you need. Some things are just out of our hands and I so appreciate your understanding in this matter. I do hope we can work together in the future!

I will keep you all posted on our progress and when I will be returning to what I love doing best! So far, baby and I are doing well and I'm optimistic everything will turn out fine. Thank you to everyone for your incredible support and love through this difficult time. Trying to make the best of it! Have an amazing summer everyone!
